For the first time in about three months, I had a pre-interview telephone call today. About three weeks ago, I saw a job opening at a local bike shop, Cycles-N-Sports (http://bmx.cycles-n-sports.com) in Worth, IL. The position was for a bike repair technician and considering all of the work I’ve had over the years repairing Empire-issued Speeder Bikes, I thought I’d be an excellent candidate for the job.
My in-person interview is scheduled for Friday, July 3rd, with the shop manager Dawayne, so keep your fingers crossed for me. And, if anyone can throw a few nice words over to Dawayne on my behalf to make sure it all goes well and I get hired, send him an e-mail at dawayne@cycles-n-sports.com.
I did mention to him that my documentary film crew may be tagging along on my first day, so I’ll be sure to post that v-blog when it’s all said and done, so please stay tuned!
Hi,
Greetings from Finland. Just popped in to say that us Europeans are also starting to get worried about your situation and we really hope that things will get better for you. I can see that you are truly a hard working person who deserves better. Let us know how the interview went and keep up the good work.
